It is a full feature laptop ( 1.3mhz Centrino 2 chip...) no bigger than a legal pad. I jumped on the trend of buying a Netbook 9 "Dell Mini. I did not expect to replace my $ 2000 laptop, and I need something to serve as a backup of workstations, and something I could carry around times (travel, etc.) when I did not want to worry about lugging around more than my first car cost.

I bought this laptop to run Ubuntu Linux. It works very well. Each unit operates automatically, without configuration. Play Video's facilities in both VLC and Flash in the browser, and the sound is great. Suspend / resume is a dream to work with, and 2 GB of memory is sufficient.
I had fun with this notebook, and I recommend it to anyone looking for something on the border of Netbook laptops.
