I had this netbook for 2 weeks before it stopped booting. Froze page BIOS and did not find the boot sector of the operating system. Whether or not there was a loose connector on the hard disk. I called Acer tech support, but they told me to restore from recovery CD. I explained that since this was a Netbook that no optical drive included with the system. She told me to start the recovery partition, even after I explained that the system does not recognize the hard drive. Ultimately, he offered to send me netbooks in Texas for repair, but I refused. Since it was within the 30-day warranty through the J & R I returned the machine for a full refund, rather than risk something goes wrong.

Acer Aspire 3680 running OS X Leopard, everything except mic and battery status working, updates also work perfect . This laptop is fully functional and I use it every day. I had windows vista installed before and I have to say that OS X is running 100 times better then vista ever did and I couldn’t be happier with the results of this install. The video shows a race at boot up, HP pavilion entertainment PC model dv6000 with Amd Turion 64x 2 VS Acer Aspire 3680 with Intel Celeron M520 1.6 ghz

I had an Acer 1410 for a week and I am delighted with the purchase. Has several significant advantages over the standard time Netbooks: CPU, a keyboard and a memory that will, in Pro into con I will mention a few things more important.

Coming from a troubled MacBook Pro Nvidia 8600M GT - let me say that I was very skeptical about buying an Apple laptop with nVidia chip in it.

However, one weekend I decided to visit the nearest Apple dealer and check the models just released. My decision was mainly influenced by lower prices and greater battery life.

After some discussion, to buy the old model, at the same price or getting the latest, we decided for the last half-end $ 1999 model with 2 GPUs. As is common, I had a very good selling price for my old MacBook Pro, as it had AppleCare.
