Coming from a troubled MacBook Pro Nvidia 8600M GT - let me say that I was very skeptical about buying an Apple laptop with nVidia chip in it.
However, one weekend I decided to visit the nearest Apple dealer and check the models just released. My decision was mainly influenced by lower prices and greater battery life.
After some discussion, to buy the old model, at the same price or getting the latest, we decided for the last half-end $ 1999 model with 2 GPUs. As is common, I had a very good selling price for my old MacBook Pro, as it had AppleCare.

I had my computer for about a week and am very pleased with its capabilities. I'm using the computer faster, but not of this size and frankly I do not buy it for speed. My goal for my Acer is the e-mail, surfing, chatting and casual work of the Office programs (such as writing in Word to ensure that did not bother me with the spelling!).

I switched to Mac in August 2008. I bought the black MacBook 13.3 "and used it every day for almost a year. When Apple changed their MacBook Pro lineup in June this year, I waited about a month before I could read the reviews and go the Apple store several times. I wanted to upgrade because of the aluminum monocoque design, SD card slot and a long battery life. I also found that the display was more recent than this so much better.
