I switched to Mac about 5 years ago and I use several Mac (Powerbook G4 1.66 GHz, 2.0 GHz Mac mini, MacBook Pro, 2.5 GHz (pre-unibody) Unibody Macbook Pro 2.66 GHz). I manually updated the MBP with Seagate Momentus 7200 RPM (no anti-shock version) with 500 GB and has been great so far. The model monocoque construction quality appears to be significantly better than previous versions, and the larger trackpad is a joy to use.
I compared the response speed of the system with the standard 5200 rpm and 7200 rpm hard drive, and noted that 7200 rpm hard drive significantly improves the performance of this machine. I have heard that the solid state drive for even better results if you provide can afford it, you can select the SSD. HDD at 7200 rpm, make sure that it could trigger an anti-shock hard drives do not purchase (in Seagate case, the G-models), for which there are plenty of stories of how technology anti-shock HDD is in conflict with Apple's Sudden Motion Sensor.
The appearance of the laptop is nice and all is well constructed (inside, outside). In addition, it runs Mac OS X 
This is the best laptop I've ever owned.
Pro Tip: Using Mac OS X, solid build quality, excellent battery life, 4GB of memory standard
Cons: you need to buy Mini DisplayPort - DVI, VGA adapters are sold separately, Spot trackpad centered on the display of the keyboard, not in the middle, in terms of the space bar
